Md. Habibur Rahman has recently been promoted as Deputy Managing Director of Jamuna Bank Ltd. Prior his promotion, he was the Senior Executive Vice President and Head of Credit Risk Management Division of Jamuna Bank Ltd. He has completed his Post-Graduation in Economics from the University of Chittagong and has a professional banking career spanning over two decades; starting his career as a Probationary Officer in Islami Bank Bangladesh Ltd. in 1989. He worked in Prime Bank Ltd., Mercantile Bank Ltd. and Shahjalal Islami Bank Ltd. in various important positions in Head Office and different Branches. Mr. Rahman is an active Rotarian and member of Rotary Club of Dhaka Fort.

Mrs. Tasmin Mahmud has been elected as Director of the Board of Jamuna Bank Limited. She is an eminent personality and well-known enterpreneur in telecommunication, real estate, RMG & textile sector of the country. Mrs. Mahmud was born in a respectable Muslim Zaminder family of Shibchar, Madaripur (Utrail Chowdhury Bari). She did her M.S.S in Public Administration from the University of Dhaka. She is serving as the Member of the Board of different concerns of the Cotton Group, one of the largest & renowned conglomerates of the country. She is widely recognized for her role in shaping the business in multiple sectors for which Mrs. Mahmud was invited to travel Japan as one of the members of trade delegation led by Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh. She was also a member of business delegation led by FBCCI upon receiving invitation from the Ambassador of People’s Republic of South Korea in Bangladesh. She is the member of Gulshan Ladies Community Club and Army Golf Club. She traveled more than 30 countries of 6 continents. The Board of Directors of Jamuna Bank Limited in its 241st meeting held on 27.04.2014 has unanimously elected Shaheen Mahmud as the Chairman of the Board. He was born in a respected Muslim family of Dhaka in 1969. Mr. Shaheen has set up a number of RMG, TELECOM and Real Estate business with related manufacturing units including backward linkages, under the umbrella of Cotton Group of which he is the chairman. Mr. Shaheen is a successful exporter in the RMG sector of Bangladesh and earned confidence of global buyers and accolade from the Government of Bangladesh. In recognition of large volume export, the Government of Bangladesh awarded him an export trophy and conferred him CIP status. He represented Bangladesh as a member of business delegations across Europe & Far-East. Mr. Shaheen Mahmud has been elected as a Vice Chairman of Korea Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KBCCI). Mr. Shaheen is a keen sport enthusiast and social benefactor. In the field of sports, he was Senior Vice President of Usha Krira Chakra and also served the Bangladesh Hockey Federation as its Senior Vice President for 12 years. He sponsored the biggest annual golf event of the Country, where local and foreign golfers living in Dhaka, individuals and teams from Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka took part. He widely traveled major countries of the world.
