He was born in the year 1958 in a respectable Muslim family of Rangpur. He is the eldest son of famed Al-haj Karim Uddin Varosha. After completing his graduation, he started his own business. Within very short time he became a successful business man as a Proprietor, Managing Director and Chairman of the Karim Impex Ltd., Amazon Tex Knit Fashion Ltd., S.V. Food & Chemical Industries Ltd., Managing Director of R.K. Metal Industries Ltd., Operative Director of R.K. Industries Ltd., Proprietor of S.V. Tobacco Co., M/S Siam Enterprise, Siraj Chemical Co. and S.H. Trading Co. Mr. Varosha is socially active and connected with a range of socio-culture activities. He also served as the Vice-Chairman of the Board from April 29, 2007 to April 26, 2008. He is a member of Liaison Committee of International Business Forum of Bangladesh (IBFB).
