Recently Jamuna Bank's Managing Director & CEO Shafiqul Alam has launched re-branded mobile application for banking services titled "Jamuna Bank Wallet" for Jamuna Bank customers at a simple ceremony held at Bank's Head Office. Deputy Managing Director A. K. M. Saifuddin Ahamed and other high officials of the Bank were also present in the ceremony. Through Jamuna Bank Wallet customers can get many services like fund transfer, receiving information about account, mobile phone top-up, locating JBL ATMs, branches, product and service information etc. This comprehensive banking App will help customers to manage their time and banking efficiently. Jamuna Bank Wallet App is now available for download at Google Playstore for android phones and tabs. The Apple and Windows versions will be available soon. The App has been designed keeping customer security in mind. One Time Password or OTP will be required to perform transactions like fund transfer through the App.

He made his mark in IT development in the country. He is the Director of Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB), the Chairman of Cricket Committee of Dhaka Metropolis (CCDM) and also President of Gazi Group Cricketers. He is the eldest son of Mr. Golam Dastagir Gazi, Bir Protik, MP and Hasina Gazi, Mayor, Tarabo Municipality, Narayangonj.
